Speed Networking is our latest and hottest way to network! Our last two events: Introduction to Speed Networking at the Howell First Aid # 1 and our second event: Joint Networking with the Wall Chamber of Commerce at the breathtaking Manasquan Reservoir- both of these events were a tremendous success. Business- to- Business Program- The Howell Chamber will include your flyer in our monthly newsletter. What a great way to introduce your business to our members! If your business is planning a special event, a sale, coupons, or to introduce your business to our business community, this program is a wonderful way to get the word out. Howell Messenger- Howell Township's official publication printed three times a year in conjunction with the Howell Chamber. The publication is sent to over 18,000 Howell Township residents and businesses. The Messenger provides a great vehicle for doctors, lawyers, restaurants, retail stores-anyone who is marketing to the Howell consumer; while the Township provides valuable information for our residents such as recreation dates, leaf pickup dates, and other general information about our Township.

The 2007 Summer ad due date is June 29, 2007 and Winter ad due date us October 1, 2007.

Membership Directory - Chamber members are listed alphabetically and by category.

Membership Directories are available only to our Chamber members and include the latest Member -to- Member Discount Book. Directories are given out when your business renews its yearly membership. A new member also receives a directory. Additional directories or mailing labels are available for $25.

Member Referrals - When information is requested, either by phone or in person, the Chamber always refers Chamber members.

Member to Member Discount Program- The Chamber is happy to announce this year that they will be sending out Howell Chamber Member Cards. This will be an easy way for members to verify identification of other members and use their discounts provided by other Chamber members. We are compiling our Member to Member Discount Booklet and will be sending it to all of our members. The Member to Member Discount Listings will be posted online. New Resident Direct Mail Welcome Package -This is a great way for your business reach to new residents and businesses moving into our rapidly growing community. Here is how the program works: Each month the Chamber receives a list from Howell Township of all residents moving into our town. The Chamber sends a customized Howell Chamber 10 x 13 envelope with our logo by Media Mail to each new resident in Howell. The packet contains a letter from the Chamber welcoming them into the community, the Township Map, the latest issue of the Messenger, voter's registration, information and promotional pieces from our members. As a public service to the Township of Howell, we are now including pertinent information about their various programs including Howell Recreation, sports teams, recycling and leaf pickup. What a great way to introduce your business to the newest residents in Howell. This program costs only $80.00 per quarter. Submit the request form with payment and the Chamber Office will contact you with details. Newsletter - A monthly, comprehensive newsletter keeping members informed of Chamber events, initiatives, programs, services, and the latest in business and community issues. Plaques- Our new members are presented Howell Chamber plaque at their first general membership meeting to display in their business.

Ribbon Cuttings/Open Houses/Ground Breakings - Celebrate your business's relocation, opening or anniversary with this special members only service.

"Shop Chamber" Bags - Our new members are given "Shop Chamber" bags at their first monthly general membership meetings where they also receive their plaque. Members are encouraged to drop off pamphlets, flyers, key chains, and other promotional items to the Chamber office to be placed in our "Shop Chamber" bags. There is no charge for this free promotion.

Sponsorships - Members can gain excellent publicity by sponsoring meetings and events throughout the year. This direct exposure is unmatched in the business community.

Sponsorship Benefits include: Business name included on all marketing materials, E-Mail blasts, newspaper announcements, and  Chamber newsletter announcements. Display space is provided at the event and your business will have an opportunity to give a brief presentation about your business.

Web Site/Links - www.howellchamber.com, is the Chamber's online connection to its members and the world. Members can view the Chamber's Calendar of Events and search for fellow members. On the website directory, members are listed by category with web site links provided at no charge.

Website Advertising- New to the Chamber are our Chamber member's advertisements on the web pages. We offer mini buttons for above your member for as little as $25 per year. The index & individual page ads prices and sizes are listed here . The Website Ad Sheet will also contain more information.

Chamber Events

Annual Bowl-A-Thon - This will be our 2nd Annual Bowl-A-Thon. This event is sponsored by Howell Lanes which was a BIG success in our 1st year. It was one of fun and major fundraising events. Businesses were able to participate by sponsoring a lane which allowed their employees an opportunity to bowl. The Chamber has other types of sponsorships available. Music, refreshments, prizes.....bowling & networking......friends and family....the Bowl-A-Thon has all the right ingredients for a fun summer night out.

Howell Chamber Day at the Lakewood BlueClaws- This is a yearly event held at the Lakewood BlueClaws Stadium. In addition to the Chamber, the Howell community is involved. It's a fun day to see the wonderful people and various organizations from our town while enjoying a baseball game.

Our 4th Annual Howell Chamber Night at the Lakewood BlueClaws is Thursday, May 24, 2007. Last year, everyone had a terrific time and the weather was gorgeous!

Details will be coming in Spring 2007.

Annual Dinner Dance - This special evening features entertainment, networking and is host to the annual recognition presentations. All members are invited to attend this spectacular event held in October. More information will be available closer to the actual event in October. The Dinner Dance Committee is always looking for new members and fresh ideas & faces. Please contact the Chamber office for more details.

Annual Professional Assistants Day- The Chamber holds a luncheon in the spring to honor your employees who help your business succeed throughout the year. We provide the luncheon, entertainment, and a small gift.

Annual Multi Chamber Hawaiian Summer Networking Luau- This event is held at the Candlewood Swim Club and provides a relaxing and enjoyable evening while networking with our other local chambers.

Business Before/After Hours - A monthly business card exchange designed to promote your business in a fun laid-back event. Network with other business owners and managers. Gain exposure and gather ideas.

General Membership Meetings- The Chamber holds regular membership meetings with a guest speaker. We have a yearly dinner meeting with the Howell Mayor and Township Council. The meetings are either breakfast, luncheon, or dinner meetings to try and enable all of our busy members to fit them into their schedule.

Seminars/Workshops - Seminars and workshops are offered through the Chamber in an array of subjects that motivate and educate people. Presentations that develops lasting skills for creating positive, productive and profitable workplaces.
