Nominating Committee: Chair - Dawn Nakash
The Nominating
Committee is a standing committee
of the Howell Chamber of Commerce charged with preparing a list of
nominees for those directorships whose terms are expiring as well as for
each Office of the Chamber annually.
Bylaws Committee: Chair - Hal Ornstein, DPM
The Bylaws Committee
is responsible for
annual review (or as deemed necessary) of the Howell Chamber of Commerce
bylaws.
Legislative Committee: Co-Chairs - Jack Krupnick
and George Krebs
The Legislative
Committee analyzes and interprets
local, county, state, and national issues concerning business and the
interests of our members.
Strategic Planning & Communications Committee: Co-Chairs - John
Ruggeri and Vicky Kaufman
The Strategic
Planning & Communications Committee develops and reviews the strategic
plan for the Chamber, both near and long-term.
Membership Development Committee: Chair - Sheryl Gambarella

The Membership
Committee suggests benefits
and opportunities for service to members which will encourage Chamber
growth and help in retaining members. The committee will have a process to contact and
solicit new members to show the benefits and value of membership in the
Chamber. They will develop, promote, and deliver the Ambassador program to
assist members with their individual needs.
The Messenger Committee: Chair - Karen Leschak
The Messenger
Committee coordinates all
activities relating to advertising, printing, and distribution of The
Messenger.
Web Site and Technology Committee: Chair - Bob Faias
The Website and Technology
Committee will implement technology
initiatives as they relate to the Chamber web site, its development,
content and advertising/sponsorship opportunities as well as promoting
its use within the membership and by consumers.
Community and Public Relations Committee: Chair - David Flaherty

Beautification Project - Karen Leschak and Mark Krupnick
The Community and
Public Relations Committee will enhance the image of
businesses through delivering the message that "Howell Chamber of
Commerce Members Care about Our Community" and to promote and market the
Chamber as well as Chamber events. This will be accomplished by
utilizing the talents and resources of the business community with
support and cooperation of community groups, the media and elected
officials.

The Special Events Committee
will develop, organize and
promote special events for the membership of the Chamber.
Meetings Committee: Chair - Hal Ornstein, DPM
Lunch and Learn - Peggy Berry
General Membership - Hal Ornstein, DPM
Networking - Lisa Gallicchio
The Meetings
Committee will suggest Chamber
speakers and programs; assist with all membership meetings and maintain
schedule of Chamber events. They will set up events to provide networking
opportunities and increase membership.
Council of Past Presidents Committee:
All past presidents of the
Chamber shall constitute a Council of Past Presidents. This Council, of
its own initiative, may make recommendations to the Board of Directors
and consider and report on matters referred to it by the Board of
Directors. The Council of Past Presidents shall organize annually to
function under the Chairpersonship of the Immediate Past President.
